The actual item feels smaller than expected. At first. I doubt whether it can support the online conference within my studio. around 600 sq ft. The previous one I use sometimes will get a slight echo sound when I am hosting the meeting.
After two days host of the conference with my friend at home. the experience is pretty good. There is no echo. no electricity noise when we speak. and I guess it has some noise filter mechanism inside it because when I check the meeting record. there is no noise from my neighbor. The sound stays the same clear when my friend and I talk to the microphone at different distances.

Ive been using this webcam for a few months. and its immaculate. The webcam is really well. and records in 1080p 60FPS. i believe. The built in mic is also really good. as my co workers and hear me crystal clear. perfectly fine.

As a normal usb camera. no driver installation and operating system has the driver already.
But this camera does include face beautifying functionality in hardware. should through camera firmware which is not accessible.
The result is my face looks whiter and smoother. So I can still be clearly seen even in low light environment.

Like many others. this covid-10 era had me look for a reliable webcam to use for video conference and meetings while working at home. For the last 2 years. I went from having 0 webcams to owning 5 of them. Thankfully. I had a chance to test many brands of webcams owing to the program.
Now first. the installation (if you can even call it that) is easy. true plug and play I would say. Worked perfectly on Windows 10. and also on updated Windows 11 as well. This one is quite light and very compact in size compared to some other streaming webcam designed for online meetings. While I am not an expert on the quality of video. this delivers a clear. quality image for sure!
In addition. the quality of sound via microphone was quite impressive. which I didn’t expect. to be honest. You won’t need to set up your microphone separately at all.
I would say this one is perfect for people who are looking for webcams to be used at home office settings ! The functionality and performance of this webcam makes this definitely worth the price!

I’d first like to start by saying that the premise of me buying a USB webcam is for college online classes; it is needed to take recorded tests and exams using a browser named. “Respondus Lockdown Browser.” There are a lot of USB webcams out there. but I specifically needed one that is small and light enough to basically hang freely from my monitor lamp. I have tried other USB webcams that are bigger and they tended to sag my monitor lamp because of the weight. This fits my needs perfectly. It is light enough to hang freely on my monitor stand without needing the included supporting mechanism and has a good enough picture quality without much noise or blurriness for my face to be detected by the Respondus program. It has a slightly bluish tint that I prefer over the natural. yellow-ish color profile of my previous USB webcam. The webcam has a little white light indicator to indicate when it is in use and a camera cover to prevent unwanted pictures and videos to be taken in case your device gets hacked. The price is well in range for what I’d expect to get and the price can get even better with Prime day or manufacturer coupon.

The picture quality is excellent in normal lighting. Low light (no indoor light on. but with a window open during the day time) is still a bit grainy but much clearer than any other webcam I’ve used.

The voice pickup / reproduction is excellent on this mic.
Teams:
This mic integrates perfectly in Teams.
Final thought:
I like using this camera when my laptop is on a docking station at home. It is easy to position and provides the best image out of a webcam.

I got this webcam for video meetings because my laptop’s integrated camera wasn’t high enough quality for me. This webcam was extremely easy to install. I just plugged it in via USB and it was immediately recognized for audio and video through discord. zoom. etc. The audio quality is about the same as my laptop’s integrated audio. The camera is great for the price. My video image on Zoom looks way better than on my integrated camera. The little shutter also gives a good feeling of security being that I’m a t-shirt and you want to make sure that you’re not accidentally leaving the camera on. etc. The only part that I would say is difficult is keeping it still. I needed a webcam in order to attend meetings for my new job and after some debate. I decided on this one because of the features it boasted. I can say now that I made the right choice. The video quality on this webcam is superb. The full HD. 1080p resolution captures my face in a great light (better than even my phone camera). so I can feel confident during meetings. The microhpone which comes with the webcam has never given me any issues and people I’ve spoken with have told me that my voice sounds clear with it. The clip for the webcam is quite sturdy and the webcam never topples. Additionally. the privacy cover helps ease my subconscious tremendously after seeing how insecure the security on my computer can be. Overall. this is an amazing webcam at this price point and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality. inexpensive webcam.

The only impressive thing about this camera for me is the build quality. its made from a nice aluminum casing. The front has a nice cloth cover over it. The mic quality is good. clear and free of noise.
Now on to the bad and most important part. the image/video quality. First I used this with a M1 MacBook AIr. You just plug and play. but the play is not that good. The video quality is fuzzy and always out of focus. Also the wide angle lens does a warped fisheye view for anyone not in the center. I can’t see any benefits of all the extra technical jargon. auto framing. focus and etc. I see all the positive reviews. so maybe it works better with a Windows computer or non M1 MacBook. I wish they would make an app to update or adjust these features. This is just my experience but I could not recommend this camera for a M1 Mac.

Update: just tested the microphone out in Zoom. it was amazing! Better than my 60 dollar corsair headphone microphone. and it dismiss environmental noises. Really nice!

This is a pretty expensive webcam considering it is from a generic Chinese company that also makes plastic meal prep containers. I’m assuming they source the production from someone else then just slap their “company” name on it. That being said. it is pretty decent for what you get. It has an adjustable stand so you can attach it to your monitor temporarily or just prop it up on the desk. I have been using it for work meetings. but I use the same computer as my personal computer and don’t want a permanent webcam on it. I keep it on my desk and when it’s time for a meeting. I just pull it out. plug it into my USB and prop it up on my monitor. then remove it when I’m done. Installation is easy and everything was plug and play with Windows 10. As soon as I plugged the USB in. Windows recognized a new device and installed the software without my having to download external drivers. It works well on Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls. It is super widescreen so it is great if you want to use it for a conference room where a standard camera doesn’t capture everyone. My biggest complaint is that the widescreen actually shows to much. and will display my entire room that I am in. I have to adjust the setting on my meeting so it is only showing my face. It is very adjustable and has a clear microphone.

I have a dual monitor setup for WFH with a laptop and large monitor. Couldn’t use the laptop’s built in webcam and poor mic due to distance. This works well at about 2.5 feet away. Field of view is appropriate. and I am nicely sized. Microphone also works well for the cost. This is plug and play. no configuration required. I like the mount that comes with the camera. since I have a display with narrow bezels. and this doesn’t obscure the picture. It’s also easy to adjust the tilt with the built-in foot on the back. Maybe worth buying for this flexibility alone. Someone did a good job with the design.

This has to be the easiest cam set up ever! I opened the box and plugged in the USB…that’s it. Done. It loaded it’s own software in a few seconds and I was ready to go. No more having to get my laptop to use the web cam! I can just use my desktop now. And why did I not do this before!….. It is small and the angle can be adjusted. There is a slide to cover the camera when not in use. I really like that! I have to put blue painters tape on my laptop camera. LOL. Great little camera!

Camera is super cool – it has a smart technology that looks at the person speaking and highlights them. Very neat and helpful with multiple people in the room. Literally plug and play – up and running within 30 seconds. I have it working with Teams and doing voice calls over Telegram. I spent around $500 trying to cobble a bunk of equipment to do what this does and those items never really worked. Buy it.

I bought this for a medium sized training room. While the camera quality wasn’t good enough to read the whiteboard. that wasn’t really why I got it. and that didn’t bother me much. The motion or sound detection system in it is very good. and as soon as someone started speaking the camera panned to them and auto focused. It works very well for having a meeting where several people are discussing a project with remote participants. Its compact design and ease of use made it a hit for non-technical meeting leads.

Pros:
This is an Android 8 device with a superior speaker/microphone combo (think expensive speakerphone from your conference room) that provides a good conferencing experience for large rooms with multiple participants. Amazing pickup of far-away speakers and good echo cancellation.
If you know how to sideload APK files. you can install Zoom. Teams. Skype. WebEx. etc right on the device.
If you have a USB hub you can plug in more than one device. like say a USB key for app installs and a keyboard/mouse. Perhaps even a mini wireless keyboard/mouse. for slick control of the device.
Standard 1/4 20 screw hole on the bottom. and wall mounting tray included.
I don’t see any other products with this feature set on the market. where you can mount it near your TV and not have to run cables.
Cons:
Note it’s Android 8 (Oreo) and not a more modern Android. The current version is 12. I don’t know of a good way to update it.
No Google Play store installed. I was unable to sideload it successfully. I thought I had all four dependent APK files (correct version. installed in the correct order)
Wireless was buggy. resorted to using Ethernet
Navigation between apps and the home screen takes some getting used to
The camera is not great in practice. Decent enough but not amazing. You can tell who people are.
If I was not a former Android app developer and Fire TV sideloading veteran. I don’t think I would have figured this out.
Improvements:
If you could Chromecast and AirPlay to this device it would be amazing. It comes with an off-brand. clunky screensharing technology installed. You have to install janky proprietary apps to try to share your screen. No app for Macs.
If there was a way to make it appear as a Bluetooth device that showed up as both a speaker AND a microphone (appeared/paired like AirPods to your phone or computer. but was up on the wall). it would be perfect. Then you would not care about installing the apps on the device itself; you could run them on your local phone/PC/etc and use the device for mic/speaker.

I am so excited to receive this mini webcam. which is an easy way to set it up. and then have the computer recognized right away. I do use this product for video calls with my mother living in China. who really misses my baby. and also I have zoom meetings with my co-workers through this webcam .which is much clearer and better quality than before. I have tested several webcams for use with my Teams/Zoom/WebEx sessions — including ones for video conferencing by our family with the grandparents. Most disappointed. This particular Enther one surprised me in a good way.
Of immediate notice is how WIDE the angle is. This can be both good and bad. Good: you can see a LOT of my room — half my sofa. the entire piano. and half the 8-person dining table that are situated just 5 feet behind me. Bad: you can see TOO much. People who have joined my call can literally now see someone standing to the side of my room. This webcam may be best suited for group video conferencing and not so much for an individual.
Picture quality is sharp and has a nice color reproduction.

Absolutely nothing intuitive about it setting it up. We watched multiple videos. but they glossed over the parts we needed the help with. We finally got it figured out and when we connected a wireless keyboard and mouse everything became easier. They really should suggest people use a wireless keyboard and mouse. The picture and sound quality were excellent. We ended up returning it. though. because although in the description it says it supports Mac OS 10.10 or higher. we could only get it to work with Monterey. We had planned on using it in a conference room where people would be bringing their own laptops for presentations and could not count on people having Monterey. Also. we are required at work to use encrypted USBs. When we tried to upload Zoom from the USB to the unit. the unit would not recognize the USB.

Camera-on indicator light is helpful. and the sliding privacy screen ensures I’m only on camera when I want to be. Good resolution. Overall a nice little camera at a great price.

Camera is super cool – it has a smart technology that looks at the person speaking and highlights them. Very neat and helpful with multiple people in the room. Literally plug and play – up and running within 30 seconds. I have it working with Teams and doing voice calls over Telegram. I spent around $500 trying to cobble a bunk of equipment to do what this does and those items never really worked. Buy it.It was much cheaper than getting a conferencing system and super easy for those who struggle with technology. Easy plug and play. Great sound for both sides and love the auto framing of the speaker. My boss loves these which makes me look good.

I bought this webcam for my Asus Zephyrus G15 laptop which unfortunately doesn’t have a built-in webcam. The laptop cover is thin and has a very thin bezel at the top so my Logitech C920 will cover a small part of the screen. and is bulky to be carried around.
Then I came across this webcam. When I received it I couldn’t believe how small and light it is. especially compared to the Logitech C920 (see photo for comparison). The built-in privacy cover is also a clever design (while the one on the Logitech is just a plastic clamp). The image quality is good enough for me since I only use it for Zoom meetings and the mics are surprisingly good. Before buying I didn’t realize the mics have a noise-canceling function. The small downside is that it could not be rotated or tilted. which is not very important for me. So far. everything works great and I’ll keep testing to see if it can last long.
Highly recommend this if you are shopping for an external webcam for a laptop or if your monitor has a very thin bezel.

With my other webcam. I don’t like that the hues on my face are to prominent. With this one I feel it makes my skin look better. less blemishes but still has good clarity. Once the webcam connects to computer it gives you the ability to “touch up appearance” so it removes any blemishes you might have. Thought that is a cool feature.

This is a super nice plug and play WebCam that’s great for online meetings and recording lectures. It has a super stylish appearance that also blends well with the top of your monitor. It looks cool and is barely noticeable. It also has the extra added feature of a privacy screen. so you can close the shutter to ensure that it’s not on. which is a great feature for working from home. It works simply by plugging into your computers USB. The camera quality is fantastic. and on my MacBook it worked immediately with no set up. I also have no complaints about the microphone sound. seems to pick me up just fine.

Bought for my friend’s computer Win 10 so she could do video using Zoom. Opened the package connected the USB cable. I went into settings for Camera to see if it was really working and there I was looking at myself. a little scary. She has been using the camera to video with friends for the past few days no problem. Video and audio quality are excellent.This is a quality. high definition web cam. When we use it on Zoom. our video feed is clean and sharp as a tack while the others are badly focus and cloudy.

i got this for my daughters zoom classes as her Chromebook camera is garbage. it works really well and was super easy to install. i was initially worried it wasn’t working as there were no drivers installed or popups about new hardware. it apparently didn’t need those as it just started working when i turned on the zoom. camera quality is good. far better than the one on her Chromebook. better even than the one on my laptop. the only issue would be the mount is a little finicky. otherwise its a great camera for zoom or Microsoft teams or any video apps.

I’ve needed a new camera for my computer for a while now. I’ve started a job teaching and there is still an online element of that here. Also. I play TTRPGs online with various groups and knew my old webcam was no longer up to snuff… both in terms of video and sound.
This new one was surprisingly easy to set up and start using and has MUCH better quality sound/video than my previous camera. The instructions were minimal but I didn’t really need them.
It’s resolution. even when I’ve got the room darkened is wonderful and I’ve had no issues with it at all so far. I’ve used it with its microphone on and students can hear me clearly. but I’ve kept it off for gaming. preferring my headphone mic for that.
Overall it’s a great basic webcam that is a big step up from what I’d been using. I’d also mention that it attaches to my screen much more securely than my previous one. which was easy to knock off.
VERY satisfied and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn’t need something more elaborate.

This is a nifty little camera. Great quality for video calls. There’s no drivers to install. so it’s quick to get up and running. I mainly chose this camera because of the privacy slider. which I’ve gotten accustomed to closing when the camera isn’t in use. If I could give one critical point of feedback. it would be that the privacy filter doesn’t really “lock” into the open or close position. Rather. it can move freely. This isn’t too much of an issue though since there’s enough friction to keep it in place. either opened or closed.

I bought this camera to replace my old 720p webcam. Compared to my 720p camera. the Maxhub camera have a wider point of view and clearer picture. I also like that the cable is detachable and it is a USB-C connector on the camera. So if anything ever happens to the original cable it wouldn’t be a problem to replace the cable with a generic USB-C cable.

I am a teacher and I bought this for my room so it can show the board and myself all in one frame. It is light and is very portable you can bring it anywhere. The design is nice and very clean. The package arrived fast and it was easy to setup and start using quickly. The sound quality from the cam USB’s loud and clear and the webcam doesn’t take up much space at all.

The quality of this cam is obvious – the housing is anodized aluminum and heavy. The front is cloth and looks like something you’d find in a corporate boardroom. The mounting clip works on large TV sized monitors or desktop monitors. Simply plug it in and you’re good to go.
It automatically frames the closest face and focuses there. I don’t see a way of deactivating the auro face outlining feature and find it distracting.
But the video and audio quality are excellent and the picture is wide – you can see an entire room and without much distortion. Plus the cam mount tilts and swivels. so you can frame the room perfectly.
The camera is designed for rooms – I could not get a crisp focus two feet away. but could from 5 feet away.

This is a great slim camera for video calls.
This camera has pretty good image quality. definitely 1080p. but the color and depth of field and viewing angle are all pretty average. This is definitely not a camera for recording videos with. But since a video call compresses your image anyway. you don’t need anything higher than 1080p. I love how slim it is. it’s hardly noticeable above my monitor. and I love that it’s USB C. so I can use a C to C cable if I need. The microphone is pretty good. and the privacy cover is nice. Overall. I recommend this as a good quality. slim camera for video calls. It’s MUCH better than most built in laptop webcams. and if you put the call on your monitor. it will look like you’re actually looking at everyone.

My laptop’s camera has deteriorated since the past couple of months and I was looking to buy a new webcam. I decided to try this product and I am so happy that I did. This webcam is great. It is lightweight. easy to mount and set up. I literally connected this webcam and I was ready to attend my meeting within a couple of minutes. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C so that is a great connectivity combo. The webcam also comes with a shutter so it is good for people who care about their privacy. The focus is factory fixed at about 2 meters. My distance from camera is just under 1 meter. so I carefully disassembled and refocused the lens. The image quality is very good. 3D image noise reduction is excellent. Very well engineered and precisely manufactured. Highly recommend even at fixed 2 meter focus. because the depth of field is sufficient. The audio is also excellent for a webcam.

The picture quality is great compared to my laptop’s built-in webcam. Another great feature in this camera is that it has built-in mic which of high quality. I just got my Enther MAXHUb webcam delivered today. I’ve tested it out with a few websites and it works great. The install was as simple as plugging in the provided USB-C cable to the camera and the computer. Windows 10 automatically detected the camera and installed the required drivers within moments.
The camera runs at 1080 and 24FPS. The colors are fairly accurate. I’m glad they included a built-in lens cover slide to aid my privacy. The microphone works just as well as my headset mic. The camera itself is very compact and professional-looking. It’s smaller than my Logitech webcams.
Overall. for the price. I’m very impressed with this webcam. particularly at a time when they’ve been hard to get.

Secondly. I had to affix Velcro strips to the bottom of the cam to get it to stay on my thin. curved monitor. The cam will stand up just fine. but the up angle of the camera is weird. and the clip on the back does not work on my thin monitor…thus the Velcro.

Similar to other cameras I’ve tried. the picture isn’t flexible: you can’t adjust how wide a field of vision — so this one shows about 100°. I’d prefer 60 or so. something narrower. And you can’t adjust it up or down except by moving monitor up down — I’m lucky monitor is on an arm. otherwise to adjust how high you are in the picture. you’d have to raise/lower chair.

I brought this conference camera for my yoga classes as the wide-angle helps the students and instructors for a better teaching experience. The camera deserves the highest rating. probably the speaker and microphone can be improved. It would have been great if the camera comes preloaded with common software likes zoom and teams as it’s hard to find the trustworthy adk on the internet.
As others have mentioned. you do need to connect the keyboard or a mouse to make things easier as controlling it with an entirely remote is not possible. Once you set up the mouse. things become very very easy. I also agree. that if you are not technical. then this device is not for you as it does require some serious technical skills to completely set it up. but once it is completely setup. it’s worth the investment. So far happy with the feedback of the students.

As for the unboxing experience and my first impressions. the webcam is much smaller that I expected it would be. I think it’s a delightful surprise. With that being said and after I’ve had my hands on the product. I only have one slight problem. It’s not too serious. but the sliding mechanism for the privacy windows is quite loose. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be that way. but it’d be much better if it was stronger and tighter to ensure it never comes loose when you have the camera covered up. Now. onto to the actual use of the product. it’s very simple and easy to set up. You just have the webcam itself and the USB cable. Plug and play experience. The camera quality is excellent. especially considering the price of this product. A very usable webcam for any purpose. whether it be meetings or interviews on Zoom or streaming/uploading content to Twitch or YouTube. While I didn’t test the microphones. I’m sure they’re decent if the camera itself is as good as it is. All in all. this product is great for a starter camera. perhaps even a regular use one.

The camera can be clipped to your screen or sit in a table/desk/other surface. whichever works best for you.
It can also be tilted to adjust the angle. which is really useful.
I think you can even mount it to a tripod if you havebone. as there is a screw on the bottom.
Had s good quality image and the built-in microphone is great…much better than my laptops built in camera/mic.

I rarely write reviews; however. because many of the reviews of this product appear to miss the mark in my opinion. I decided to dip my toe into the water. as they say. First. any review that says it is easy and set up in a few minutes is not using the system as a stand alone system. but instead. has it connected to a computer. The most accurate review was the one from an Android App designer. This camera comes with no virtual meeting software downloaded (i.e. no zoom. no teams. no Skype). And to get these programs onto the system. you need to find a third-party cite that offers the software in an APK file format (Android Package Kit). Then. you need to download that file onto a computer. transfer the file from the computer to a thumb drive. and then use the thumb drive to download it onto the conference system—I’ve learned this is called “side-loading”. It is not that difficult. but does take some time. After doing this. the camera and speaker system works great and looks great with the clean lines. I also feel that the instructional videos on this product fail to adequately discuss the process of side loading. and the necessity of it. If you are willing to learn how to side-load. then it is a good product for you. Conversely. if you are not. you will not be able to use this as a stand alone system.

The camera gives really good image quality. The magnetic clasp ensures that the camera can be placed on any desktop monitor and at any angle as desired. The mic quality is good and I have used that for multiple xoom meetings without any issues. I use my Mac in a dock with a 2 monitor setup and so it’s always folded. With constant work from home. I started searching for a webcam to enable video in my local video calls. I looked at this webcam which was inexpensive and looked easy to put on top of a monitor. so bought this.
The installation is non-existent. All I had to do was simply plug in the USB and all my apps were able to detect the camera. The privacy filter moves smooth and easy to operate with a finger. The video quality also has been great and can see my face clearly in my previews :). I didn’t use the mic till now as I use my airpods mic. Overall. I’m happy with this and would recommend.

Easy to install. I was in the process of Googling how to install the camera after placing it in a USB port behind my desktop when I discovered it was already in my system as Camera. I gave it access and it’s good to go. Camera quality and options are nice. although it tints to the cool side. Skin tone is nice and it doesn’t even cause my eyeglasses to glare.

Due to its looks (silver gray and slim). it blends easily with my monitor hence i barely notice it. Camera quality is good and connects easily with my windows. I use it with zoom calls mostly and i had no trouble.

I used the webcam chatting with my families. I read many comments on different products. Finally. I decided to get Enther & MAXHUB 1080P Webcam. It is really easy to install and use. I don’t need to set up that it can detect your window version and install automatically. The video quality is excellent and the sound is clear. People can see and hear me without any noises Excellent quality. You can’t miss it if you need a webcam.

No additional software/ setup needed. Was able to use it right after plugging it in. The camera is clear but it looks too bright and white. It was able to connect to OBS where I was able to add filters to acquire the desired look. The microphone works well but picks up all noise so I recommend using it in a quiet area

I wasted months struggling with Canon’s webcam software to use my expensive DSLR as a webcam. and I wish I could get that time back and just buy this Ether camera. I cost less than $40 and it has perfect (crisp!!!) image quality. a very sleek and smart design that hugs the surface you put it on (see photos). and a slidable privacy cover (see photo) so nobody can see you if you’re not willing to be seen — it surely beats the sticky notes I put on my laptop’s webcam. which leaves it all gooey and dirty. Setup was automatic too!! Nothing else to say. buy this camera!

This cam has a very good resolution (1080 HD). I took two pictures; first one (dimmer) with my laptop cam. and the second brighter one was taken with this webcam (which was placed just above my laptop cam). The webcam has a wider lens. better light detection and higher resolution. A small light beside the lens to indicate that its working. I liked the lens cover (just in case you forgot your Zoom cam on. just look and the cam and slide the lens cover for double protection). However. the lens cover is not rigid and can easily slide between two sides. It came with USB-C cable.

For my wfh setup. I have a large enough monitor that I don’t really need my laptop open to serve as a second. I only have it open for the webcam. I bought this so I could close my laptop and rely on this plug and play webcam. For the most part. it’s great. The mic is not acknowledged or picking up sound in Teams and is called “Capture inactive”. (I haven’t tried it any other meeting app) So I have to have my laptop open for it to pick up the mic. I tried contacting CS from Enther. but never received a reply. All in all. it is still pretty nice for the price point.

It installs quickly and needs no drivers. The image quality is great. There’s an app you can install if you want to use the more advanced features. but if you just need a Windows devices or a webcam for video conferencing. this works with no muss or fuss.
The mount works great. but might cover some of the image on monitors with thin bezels. Excellent picture quality. even in backlight / low light conditions. super wide angle captures the whole room easily. Probably good enough to be a small conference room camera.
The only real downside I can see is that it is on the expensive side.

This webcam was easy to install. Completely plug’n’play on my W10 setup. The picture quality is good. What you would expect for a webcam at this price. The microphone is a little “echoy.” Again. look at the price point. The webcam sits on top of the monitor with an adjustable bracket. It isn’t extremely secure up there but unless you’re moving your monitor around it should be fine.

My ‘use case’ for this camera involves teleworking. We have great video teleconferencing equipment at work—both at our desks and in our conference rooms. But. when COVID-19 broke out. my employer wanted more people teleworking and fewer people in the office. So we have become big users of Microsoft Teams. Parts of my team are located in other areas of the country. but a few are in my own town.
So. we had been using my dining room for team meetings and collaboration a few times a week. But. we had to rotate my laptop camera around the room depending on who was taking it. I stumbled across this 180-degree panoramic conference room camera. which is more than sufficient for our group of 3 or 4 people that get together at my house.
This conference room camera is easily the coolest thing I have gotten this year. My coworkers are impressed that I have such tech at home. This is a must-have for people participating in meetings in small ‘huddle’ (conference) rooms.

This camera produces much better video than my laptop’s internal camera. The video is clear and the autofocus works well to keep everything in the camera field visible. It has a sturdy base which can easily be attached to your monitor and the design is professional so it is ideal for offices. The base allows the camera on top to be repositioned to create optimal camera angles. I used this camera for interviews on zoom and it works well.

It is a nice and compact webcam. Come in with a USB cable longer than 1m. good for either laptop or desktop connection. Easy to set up. The image looks good. If the camera cover is a little tighter will be better. Overall it is a good webcam.

I was wanting to upgrade my video camera to 1080. which this one does. The quality of the picture is as great as I expected. However. I have an issue while using ZOOM. This occurs with back lighting. side lighting. or residual lighting. The image goes light and dark after a while. It starts out great and then starts fluctuating. I have connected to camera directly to the USB-3 port on the computer with the same experience.
The other issue I how it mounts to my monitor. The front lip is short and hard to get it to stay put if the monitor edge is slightly rounded. The hinge on the back. that is used to make the camera stable. is very loose and provides little tension to hold the camera in place. The least little movement of the cable knocks the camera off the monitor.
The plus is that the camera is small. It is about 3 inches long and less than an inch high so it is not a monstrosity sitting on your monitor. I just wish it the items above could be resolved.

The size of this camera is super slim and sits perfectly firm on the external monitor.
The picture quality is brilliant. the colors of the video are vibrant very clear.

Unlike my Microsoft webcam with autofocus that refocuses all the time with an annoying and slow zooming effect. this webcam’s focus just works instantly with no zooming in and out. The image quality under different conditions is great and setup was as easy as plugging it in. The built in microphones have also allowed me to retire my Jabra speak USB speakerphone.

Got this to test on my raspberry pi. but it’s hard to setup. It’s not plug and play for it. It’s great on Windows 10. but it’s not very clear for low light setting. It’s useable for the price. The cover on the unit i got doesn’t work properly. It moves around too easily.

I bought this for my high school son to use for online meeting and classes. it took him 5 mins to get setup and running on his windows desktop. It is also lightweight and clip on the monitor to use. a slick design.

Compared to my logitech hd 1080p this Enther is a bit larger. perhaps a slightly better picture quality. but primary difference is the wide angle. it gets several times the width from the same mount position. That’s probably overkill for my day to day need of zoom from a home office. but would be ideal for a multi-person conference table or if I wanted to show more of my background (which I don’t).

+ very wide angle – would be great for a video call with multiple people. conference table. etc
+ good clear image
+ simple plug and play. works right out of the box with no settings needed (tested on a win 11 machine and with zoom)
Cons
– very wide angle – more than I need for individual use (and will make me have to neaten up more of my office 🙂
Bottom line: a very nice webcam for wide angle needs
