Setup was easy. It works right out of the box. I connected it to a MacBook with a USB adapter. connected the MacBook to an Apple TV via wifi. and created a meeting on Zoom for four people. I will confess. my previous webcam was not very good. This one is amazing. The remote control lets you change the view without touching the cam (and blocking the lens with your hand). The resolution is fantastic. Noise canceling eliminates feedback. The best part is it reverses your view. so it’s like looking in a mirror for you. but the other end sees things as they are. This makes it very easy when you want to show something that needs to be read.

I thought the lens popped up. but it doesn’t. It does not follow movement nor voice. but the remote control is a nice addition. I use it in a small meeting room (12 pax) and the angle of the camera catches all persons nicely. Integrated mic could be better.

This unit works pretty well. but did not really suit my needs. The video quality for an up-close shot is pretty good. The full motion control is a nice feature. The extension is handy for getting a better viewing angle. The problem I had arose because of placement. The distance I needed it to be was beyond what it really could accommodate. I had it set up in a conference room above a large TV. with a viewing distance of about 20 feet. This was simply beyond the distance it could deliver high quality video. Even though it couldn’t do what I needed. it really is a nice unit and worked well in tests at my desk.

If you frequently have to hop onto video conferences (or even audio conferences). this is a great solution between using your built-in laptop camera and a full-blown standalone conference unit at the price. There doesn’t seem to be many options at this price point and functionality.
Pros:
– Simple setup and works immediately.
– Great camera – the height is perfect and the zoom and adjustable angle is a massive upgrade from laptop cameras
– The standalone camera has many benefits versus having a device attached to your screen. including better for more than 1 person on a video con.
– Mic quality is clear and very receptive
– Speakers offer a great solution for a small boardroom
– The little remote is a cool toy to adjust the camera without reaching for the unit during a conference (plus mute buttons)
– Physical mute and call drop buttons on the device (versus trying to figure out on whatever conference software you’re on where to mute your mic)
Cons:
– It’s not very portable. It has a separate power supply. plus USB cable. so it is a bit of a mission to move around from room-to-room if that’s what you need it for.
– It can feel a tad dated with limited additional software (but it is designed to just work. and work with any video software)
Overall. I would recommend this if it suits your needs and your budget.

This webcam is better than laptops integrated webcam. Before I bought this webcam. I did a thorough search about the video quality of this webcam and I found that it is a favorite webcam for many vloggers and gamers. Its full HD and wide angle. Its view angle is much wider than laptop inbuilt/ integrated webcam and video quality is way superior to laptop’s inbuilt webcam’s video quality. OK. just to clarify. its a decent laptop. Its Lenovo Legion Y520.

Now the next best part…the webcam has integrated microphone as well. The microphone in webcam is way better than the microphone on the laptop. Basically this one purchase. upgrades both your webcam as well as microphone. Microphone is good enough for video chats like skype or hangout. It is not good enough if you want to use it for vlogging or recording / streaming gameplays but again it is not meant to be a pro microphone. it’s the best webcam and reasonably decent microphone for home use.

Our club has been using one of these cameras for video and sound in a large room for the past 6 months. with no issues. It’s so easy to set up on any computer. It’s easy to use. with or without the zoom and filtering features. We have seen some other. very expensive. eyeball cameras in use for meetings. and something always goes wrong. or the picture is distorted. This camera is modestly priced and easy to use.

Love this device. I use it for conducting oine visits with my clients. Love the zoom feature with remote. This is a good camera with what it does; however. the zoom function really is not that great. If you have a large conference room don’t expect this to see to the other side. We use white boards to convey information and this is the only short coming for this model. The rotation is beyond what is needed and is excellent. Remote must be pointed directly at unit and seems to be a little weak.

I use the cam for Pilates classes with Zoom. There is a fair amount of exercises that take place laying on the ground. in a chair or standing. I was constantly adjusting the cam I had and wanted something more convenient. This cam came with a remote which is ideal for my use. The cam does have a decent range doing tilt/rotate. but the response to the remote is a little jerky. jerky. The other thing to keep in mind is that this cam is not very good in a poorly lit room. I had to increase the lighting in my exercise area to get a good picture. With decent lighting the cam picture is good. Overall. I am satisfied with this product as other products with tile/rotate and a remote were much more expensive.

Absolutely beautiful clarity. It looks like an adorable little robot. The remote is great. Just an awesome product. Clarity isn’t SUPER different than the c920 in my opinion. but there is a difference. One thing about the c920 I liked was being able to take the webcam off of my computer screen and sort of move it. Well. with this one. you can’t do that. The little eyeball (the cam itself) HAS to be connected to the base. whether it’s through the long neck or just sitting on the base. and the connection from the eyeball to the base etc is sort of finicky. SO essentially what I’m saying is it’s not super portable but the remote makes up for that a bit.

I bought this camera four years ago. and it has been terrific until about four months ago when it started to play static and hiss all the time. I’ve attempted to update/change the Windows 10 drivers. but nothing helps. Now it’s basically unusable. So I’m not sure what a reasonable life expectancy of a conference camera should be. but I’d give this five stars for the first four years and 1 now. I don’t know if the new ones will have this issue or not. so buyer beware.

This does everything I really need for web conferences. Great picture. Good mic and speakers. Strongly recommended for conference room or home office.
A few minor things that disappoint:
1) The USB-to-computer cable is hardwired so you must use their cable (see photo). It’s LOOONG enough for most uses but I only need about 2 feet. not 6. but cannot replace their cable. Strangely. the POWER is provided via removable USB cable. and comes with the necessary cables to go both to a wall outlet or to a USB port. I wonder why they didn’t use standard USB cable for both computer and power. adding a USB-to-power outlet adapter as so many other devices do.
2) Would love it if the base could be attached to a tripod.
3) I wish the telescoping rod that increases the camera to eye-height was adjustable (see photo). You have two choices: table-height without the rod or one foot taller with the rod. I actually need 9 inches so I’m putting the base on a stack of books.
I’m not displeased and I have already recommended this to multiple colleagues. Still. there are a few simple ways to drastically improve this unit.

I have not seen a better option in this price range. The picture quality is great! Others have commented that the camera is prone to breaking based on people turning it manually rather than using the remote. The PTZ also has controls on the base. so it is a real problem. but you can try to correct for it by proper training up front. The audio is not the best speakerphone. but the mic works well and it is better than laptop speakers. We installed this in a conference room directly beneath the TV. It looks good. is not obtrusive and has a wide enough angle to catch a large conference table that seats 6 comfortably and as many as 8. I have no doubt that there are camera/speaker phones with better zoom and better audio quality. However for this package and the seem less user install via USB. I can’t find a better value.

I love having PTZ on this camera and for the price I’m not sure I can complain. I’ve only worked with 2 video conference cameras and one was way more money so any shortcoming feelings about this camera have to be because of that. The PT felt a little quick at times and a little hard to control. The Z is all digital but again for the price justified. Over all this camera works great and I’ll likely be purchasing more.

This camera is fantastic on Skype and other video chatting services. It is possible to pull full HD video and the picture is crystal clear. The built in microphone is almost to good. It easily picks up whispers from the other side of the room. The remote function is very handy when presenting online and having to move about the room. It is very simple to operate and the zoom works very well. I have had quite a few people ask about what camera I am using before signing out of our video chat. I know for a fact there have been more purchases. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because we set up a conference with a customer that was using some sort of LiveSteam software and this was not comparable. But we were able to jump over to Skype with no issues. The set up is very straight forward and operation is very simple.

This conference phone is very impressive. It was super easy to set-up. My Dell Windows 10 system recognized it immediately and loaded all necessary drivers. It was immediately recognized by both WebEx and Jabber that I used daily for work related conference calls. Audio quality is excellent and call participants on the other end have said the same of my video. I was unable to use a webcam due to my office set-up. This has been an excellent alternative providing me with high quality video and audio conference capabilities in my home office.

I selected this product after a disappointing adventure with a much cheaper unit. Set up is easy. and features are top notch. The HD Camera and speakers are easy to use. and the included remote allows for panning to the specific speaker in a large conference room where we are ‘social distancing’. I am a little concerned about the long term use of the ‘stalk’. which raises the camera to eye level. The attachment seems fragile.

I got this as a temporary solution but we’re going to make it last – Our office (the meeting area anyway) is about 20×20 and our remote workers are finally able to HEAR all of us. and see us all too! This unit works great! We’ve set them up with a inexpensive Dell desktop in two of our conference rooms and used Zoom for the video conferencing provider. It was a very professional looking solution at a fraction of the cost of corporate solutions that I’ve seen before. The remote can turn the camera left/right and up/down to move the focus to different people or even to zoom in on a whiteboard. The video quality is great. We have small offices in other parts of the world and we’re ordering the same setup for each of them.
For the cost of this married to a standard PC I can’t say enough about what a great solution this is.

I use this conference camera for video conferences several hours a day from my home office. It works great with Zoom conferencing. Google Hangouts. and Skype. It adapts to multiple lighting situations. and performs echo cancelation well.
This stays on my desk adjacent to my monitor. The “stick” elevates the camera to almost eye level. The elevated camera position next to the monitor enables me to communicate with distant work partners eye to eye in video conferences. Poor camera positioning on cameras without the “stick” prevents eye to eye communications and can make video calls awkward.
I love the camera’s remote control. zoom. and the ability to rotate on the X and Y axes. It works great when moving between my desk and a whiteboard during video conference calls with my distant co-workers.
The “stick” portion of the device is sufficient for holding and positioning the camera. but it can be a fragile. Reasonable caution must be taken when placing the camera in your room. It should be placed out of harm’s way. A moderate bump will send the “stick” one direction and the camera ball rolling in another decapitating the head of the camera.

When I stream with professionals in my classroom for educational purposes. I have to turn all my lights off for my students to see the projection. That typically causes problems with the streamer seeing my students. This webcam needed no additional light source at all! I purchased this for work. to use for webcasting a weekly lecture series. and for video-conferencing. The audio and video quality are quite good. not amazing. but good enough to hold an online viewer’s attention. The camera easily picks up audio for anyone raising questions in a conference room holding 25 people. and it sounds good to the viewer; even on earbuds. I particularly like that the camera will rotate via the use of the remote control. which is good for speakers who like to move around. or show things on a board. etc.. This is perfect for the price.

This little guy (well. girl as it has been named GLADOS in our office) does a great job for our conference room. Nice to be able to control with remote to face towards the person talking and the built-in conference speaker and mic have a really good range to them. I was able to stand up to 18-20 feet from the thing. speak in normal voice. and still be heard by the other end fairly well. and I could certainly hear them through the speaker well. Only problem I have with it is the jumpy movement. reduced zoom (which I knew going into it). and that sometimes when you hit the button to move it on the remote a few times a little too fast. it locks into turning all the way in that direction. Those are just things that take practice in using it though. I will admit that it is hard not to think of her as another person in the room. just seems to beg to be personified.

I found one of these abandoned in a closet in in our office. I plugged it in and left it in a small conference room. Audio quality for Google Hangouts and Join.me screen shares improved dramatically. It’s easy for folks just to plug their laptops in and there haven’t been any problems with setup. We have calls with 9 people in the room and no trouble picking up the person speaking and suppressing cross-talk.I’d prefer a slightly wider-angle camera. though.

Once I realized that I had to slide on a part to be able to plug in the camera this was super easy to set up. Good quality. and the remote enables you to pan the room. I am a corporate trainer and use it for Zoom meetings in a conference room to get everyone in the room. You can zoom in on one or two people too- remote is super easy to use as well. Good quality. You could also use it to video tape a small group or a role play for a training video. etc. I recommend the seller. CTS Warehouse. Before I realized I had misplaced a part. I was ready to return. They quickly sent me an email offering to send me any missing part. Wasn’t necessary since I found it. but I was impressed that they quickly tried to resolve the issue.

I’ve found myself quite enjoying this conference cam/speaker. Purchased through my company for home-office and group conferencing. I used to wear a headset and it’s quite a relief to be able to kick back. especially on long conference calls.
Speaker Quality: The quality of the speakers is quite decent and can also be used as primary sound output. Much better than my laptop speaker. It’s also plenty loud for conference calls.
Microphone: For the price-point. the microphone is pretty good. Noise cancellation is quite decent and audio quality on the receiving end is pretty great as well (others on my team use this as well).
Video: Video quality is quite excellent. You have the option to use the camera “plugged” directly into the unit. which is a little more sleek than having it on the stand/extender to raise it up. but the downside is that you then have the camera looking up at you… many don’t find this angle flattering.
Other: The remote is great. and also has good layout of buttons. and ability to pan/zoom.
Cons: Really not great for “group” conferencing. The FOV (field of view) is not large enough to encompass a group unless the unit is quite far away. I’ve found this to be a great mate for my desk and a single person. but in terms of being a “group” conference cam. you’re going to need to place it across the room.

This is a great plug and play camera for Zoom meetings. We have it connected to a television and are using a USB port to connect it to laptops. The embedded sound feature was tricky to get set up correctly. It works now but we decided to use a Polycom (which we already had) for the telephone part of the meetings. just to avoid any issues. Good camera. Would absolutely recommend.
